Thank you for being here. I’m Kim, the owner of The Little Clinic (TLC) — an aesthetics clinic serving Manchester and Cheshire. I wanted to share my story with you, so you understand not just my qualifications, but why this work means everything to me.
Why I Do This
I’ve been where you are. Staring in the mirror, feeling disconnected from your reflection. Avoiding photos. Hiding behind makeup.
I had cystic acne that left deep scarring and hyperpigmentation. A hooked nose I hated. A recessed chin that threw my whole profile off balance. No lips to speak of. Dark under-eyes that made me look perpetually exhausted. I wouldn’t let anyone see me without makeup on.
I avoided photos, angles, mirrors. I knew the confident person I was inside, but my reflection told a completely different story.
And then I experienced what so many of my patients fear most: bad aesthetic work.
I went to another clinic, trusted someone with my face, and ended up overfilled, puffy, distorted. My natural features disappeared under too much filler. I didn’t look like myself — it was too much for me.
Turns out they were using cheap, non-premium products and treating me like a production line rather than a person. The result? A face I didn’t recognize and months of regret.
Having all my fillers dissolved and starting over was terrifying. But it was also the best decision I ever made. Rebuilding my face properly, taught me exactly what NOT to do. And now? I’m happier with my results than I ever thought possible.
That experience — the bad work, the cheap products, the dissolution, the rebuild — shaped everything about how I practice. I know what it’s like to trust someone and have them get it wrong. I know the panic of looking in the mirror and not recognizing yourself. And I know how incredible it feels when it’s finally done right.
That’s why I became a medical aesthetics specialist. Because I know what it’s like when how you look doesn’t match how you feel. And I know what it’s like on the other side — when the right treatments give you the confidence to show up as yourself, fully and unapologetically.

My Background
I started my career in the NHS in 2008, working alongside some of the most inspiring healthcare professionals. In 2010, I began my Adult Nursing journey, spending the majority of my time on the front line as an A&E Nurse. Those years taught me clinical precision, patient care under pressure, and the importance of a calm, reassuring presence — skills that still guide everything I do today.
In 2016, I attended a training course in medical aesthetics and instantly knew I’d found my calling. The ability to help someone regain their confidence through subtle, natural enhancements resonated deeply with me — because I’d experienced that transformation myself.
Seeing the impact aesthetic treatments had — not just on physical appearance but on self-esteem and emotional wellbeing — ignited a passion I couldn’t ignore.
Within 6 months of training, I took a leap of faith and left my full-time NHS role to pursue this new path. Shortly after, I landed a position at an award-winning medispa, where I worked as the lead nurse injector for 4 years, treating thousands of patients and refining my skills in facial harmonization, profile balancing, and natural enhancement techniques.

I wanted to create a space where I could take the time to deeply understand each patient’s concerns, listen to what really mattered to them, and create bespoke treatment plans that addressed not just their appearance, but their overall wellbeing.
My approach integrates skin health, regenerative treatments, and functional wellness, because I believe that true beauty radiates from within. It’s not just about what I inject or where — it’s about creating lasting results that make you feel like yourself again.

To ensure I provide the highest standard of care, I’ve trained extensively with leading medical practitioners from around the world, refining my expertise in:

I completed my Independent Nurse Prescribing certification, allowing me to offer a fully comprehensive, patient-centered approach to medical aesthetics. I’m also a member of the ACE complications group, because patient safety isn’t negotiable — it’s paramount.
But beyond qualifications and training, what sets me apart is this: I’ve sat in the consultation chair. I’ve felt the vulnerability of wanting to change something about yourself. I’ve experienced the transformation that’s possible when you work with someone who genuinely understands.
My dream was to build a aesthetics clinic that feels like home—where patients feel safe, valued, and empowered – I’m so grateful that TLC has become just that.

Looking back, I realize that every step of my journey — the insecurities, the transformation, the years in A&E, the leap into aesthetics — has led me to this point. Following my passion, trusting my instincts, and staying true to my values have allowed me to create something truly special.
