Kim is very skilled with her work. Ive had different treatments from her over the last few years I’m getting older and didn’t have much confidence about my looks. I always said I would never get any aesthetic treatments done as I was terrified of needles and didn’t want to look like I’d have work done. When Kim and I first discussed my options for treatment, I was apprehensive to say the least. Mainly worried I would end up looking like Id had a lot of work done. I was feeling down and having been single for what felt like eternity and a string of failed dates to my name I thought I would give the treatment a go. Pre the treatment when I went on a date and it didn’t work out, I assumed it was because of what I looked like and that I would never find anyone that was attracted to me, I didn’t want to be on photographs and my confidence was at an all time low. I decided to throw caution to the wind and went for the treatment. Kim put my mind at rest with my concerns about the recovery process and how I will look afterwards, I was also concerned I was masking my own issues and not addressing them.
I cannot put into words (I will try) the difference its made to my life. Firstly, I cannot stop taking selfies, Im even annoying myself with this and anyone else in my contacts. Secondly and most importantly, I have started to like/love myself again, its made me re-evaluate myself from the inside out. Gone are the worries of going on dates and feeling ugly, I think I was portraying how I felt on the inside on the outside. After the treatment and the swelling had gone down, I couldn’t believe all these tiny changes Kim had made but all put together made me not only look younger and fresh faced but I felt younger. I feel confident, I actually am not bothered if I get rejected as I know deep down that I like myself. It’s like a big grey cloud has lifted from my life of negativity. This entire process started and finished with Kim. She is wonderfully talented at making this look natural, you just have to trust everything she says and you know that she takes a lot of pride in her work and the needs/concerns/worries of her client. Going through this process with her on hand to reassure at any time of the day any day of the week is what makes her special and I’ve gained a great friend from this experience.

I had very bad acne and when I saw that Kim was advertising skincare that could help with my problems, I jumped at the chance – it was every bit worth it. I wanted clear skin since my skin started getting bad about 2 years ago.

I was unhappy about the about of filler in my lips, injected by previous aestheticians. They were too big and off balance with my face. I felt conscious of them and lacking in confidence.
Id been considering treatment for a few years! But I was too scared of having ‘small’ lips as I was convinced bigger lips made me more attractive.

I started to research in to aesthetics due to me losing confidence in my appearance, I found myself in mid Conversation excusing myself for looking tired, and making excuses for my appearance, this started to get me down and the more I looked at myself the worse I started to become.
I chose the little Clinic because I had heard good things, so I arranged for a consultation. When I meet Kimberley I just knew that this was the right place for me as I felt in such safe hand’s. She made me feel comfortable and talked me through the process and believe me I can ask some questions! After the treatment I was made up. She hit all the areas that we discussed and took 10 years of me. I became very confident and didn’t have to excuse my appearance in mid conversation. Approximately 15 years ago I had upper and lower eye bag removal and I was informed at the time by the surgeon that I would probably need further surgery in that area to keep the eye bags from returning, thankfully I didn’t need further surgery to remove any excess skin, but I did lose some fatty tissue and volume, which gave my eyes a sunken appearance. I’ve also had a face lift approximately three years ago, which to be honest I wasn’t very happy with once the swelling had gone down. In the months and years that followed after the face surgery I was left with dilemma, do I just accept my face as it is, do I go for more surgery or go down the non surgical route. I opted for the latter of having the less invasive treatment and I’m thankful I did as I have been able to have treatments from Kim which has enabled me to achieve the results I want at a considerably reduced cost and with significantly reduced down time with more predictable results.
I have had treatments (mainly Botox and a little bit of fillers, lips etc.) on and off for a couple of years after my eye bag surgery, but I never continued with regular treatments and to be honest I didn’t have too much faith in the people I was seeing at the time. On many treatments session there appeared little opportunity to discuss the treatments or any other queries I may have had as the sessions seemed rushed and I often felt I was on a conveyor belt and rushed out of the door as soon as the treatment had finished. So I was grateful when I was referred to Kim and my experiences during my sessions with her have been the complete opposite. Since becoming a client of Kim’s she has always scheduled enough time both before and after our appointment and I’ve always had the opportunity to discuss any questions as they arise before, during and after treatment.
I started my aesthetic journey with Kim purely by chance. I was receiving Botox from a friend of a work colleague via a recommendation and I was quite happy with the results of the Botox, however I felt I needed some fillers on my cheeks to help with the jowls and hollows around my eyes that were beginning to form following my previous surgeries. Unfortunately, the person I was seeing at that time only offered Botox, but not fillers, she kindly referred me onto Kim via one of her other contacts. Following my first appointment with Kim, It made sense to remain with Kim as well as being able to access botox and fillers I have been able to access the other treatment she was able to offer.
Since my initial meeting with Kim, I was instantly impressed by the fact that she spent the first session discussing where I felt my areas of concern were and what I hoped to achieve by the procedure. Kim has continued to spend time with me at every appointment since my initial meeting with her. Kim routinely takes before and after photographs so that I can visibly see how my face has reacted to the treatments and i get to see the overall profile of my face once the treatments have settled down.
Since attending The Little Clinic and having consultations and treatments from Kim, I feel more confident about myself. I am 60 years old and now feel I could pass for a woman much younger. I have never been the type of person who wears makeup on a daily basis although I’ve always felt I should, however since having the various treatment I think my skin looks pretty good without it and when I do wear make up to go out, I feel I only need the bare minimum.
Overall, because I am feeling much better about myself, I have more interest in what I wear and I can get away with more trendier clothing without the clothing looking out of place on me.
I don’t usually tell people that I’ve had any treatments, unless someone specifically asks me directly.
The treatments I’ve had from Kim have been very subtle and not obvious, only I can see the results of the Botox and fillers that I’ve had, but which has made a huge difference to my overall features and condition of my skin. Following a recent procedure, my very close neighbour asked me if I’d had my hair done! (I hadn’t) She commented how good I looked. On another occasion whilst out shopping with my granddaughter who’s 14, I was served by the shop assistance who made reference to my ‘daughter’, which was a nice compliment.
Kim has been a breath of fresh air, especially given my previous experiences, as well as being very good at what she does, she is a really lovely person who takes an interest in me and I would imagine every client who attends The Little Clinic.
As long as I have been a client of Kim’s without fail, she has always come out to greet me with a smile, and always presents with a happy disposition, asking how I’ve been since we last met, offering me a warm drink and sits down with me to discuss how the most recent treatment has settled either as a follow up appointment or after I’ve requested the appointment for more treatment i.e. more Botox if area are beginning to gain movement or top ups in previously filled areas.
Kim is meticulous about Hygiene and always uses fresh needles at each injection site so that any discomfort is kept to a minimum. (In the past I’ve received treatments from others who have used the same needle in a few injection sites which can be really painful). Although all skin is different, I’ve never experienced any bruising from Botox, and minimal when having fillers. As I have aged, I have lost fatty tissue around my eye area which Kim has been able to replenish with fillers in the tear ducts with great results, the bonus was that I didn’t experience any pain whatsoever, the effect was instant, with no downtime. If ever I have experienced any discomfort or Kim has noticed some swelling beginning to show, Kim has sent me home with a small pot of medical grade Arnica Gel and Ice packs to use on the journey home which she has included in the price of the cost of the treatment.
Kim has recently recommended a skin care system, (prescription only) which I have been on for approximately a month, although it is still early days, I can already see my skin improving, which beats wasting money on creams that promise the world but has little effect on overall skin condition. Being one of Kim’s regular clients it is great to be introduced to new products which come on the market or new procedures that she has been trained to offer and administer in her clinic.
I travel over a 50 miles round trip to see Kim and to me every mile is worth it. I am aware of facilities closer to where I live which offer similar treatments, but having been to Kim and knowing about her expertise I wouldn’t now risk going anywhere else.
