Hi! I’m Kim, the owner of The Little Clinic – TLC.
I thought I’d share my story with you so you can get to know a bit more about me, my journey and what I do.
I started my career as an Adult Nurse in 2013 within the NHS working alongside our heroes. The majority of this time I spent on the front line as a A&E Nurse.
In 2016 I attended a training course in Aesthetics and instantly fell in love. The more I learnt about aesthetics, the results you can achieve and the impact it has on people’s lives, the more it excited me. I knew I found my passion and I needed to pursue a new journey in Medical Aesthetics. I decided to take a leap of faith, left my full time role in the NHS and chased my dream of providing aesthetic treatments.
I went on to become the lead nurse in a well-known clinic for a number of years which was voted the UK’s best clinic at that time. I provided treatments to high profile patients from clinics in London – Harley Street, Cheshire and Liverpool. Although I am grateful for the experience working in a busy clinic, I knew my skills and specialism in full face transformations weren’t being utilised, I was holding myself back and my patients were missing out. I wasn’t able to treat patients the way I wanted to and I didn’t like how rushed the working environment was. It was time to take the plunge and build my own business full time!
I love being able to change someone’s life in a positive way by helping improve something that has been affecting their confidence and self-esteem.
Knowledge is key
I attended numerous training courses with top medical practitioners from around the world to improve my knowledge and clinical skills so I was able to safely and effectively consult with patients and plan treatment according to their needs. I decided to go back to university to complete my Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification as well as other accreditations, to make sure I am able to provide safe effective treatment for my patients. I am a member of the Aesthetics Complication Expert Group (ACE), which aims to improve patient safety in facial aesthetics to ensure I am up to date with all safety information and have 24/7 support from expert Doctors/Nurses within the industry.

Being so passionate about my learning and development allowed me to become more competent and confident within my role, specialising in full face transformations, facial harmonisation, beautification and side profile. TLC
In 2021, I finally decided to concentrate on my own business full time. I have built a home based, private clinic room – Hence the name The Little Clinic, where I can be my own boss and provide a service that I’d like to receive as a patient myself. I am motivated by the needs of my patients and take pride in what I do. I am known for the care I provide and taking the time to listen, so I can understand how my patients are feeling and build an honest professional relationship.
I take a holistic approach and am dedicated to helping patients achieve their best outcome so they can look and feel more confident in their own skin.
