What are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides represent the pinnacle of regenerative aesthetic medicine. Derived from salmon DNA, these advanced biostimulators contain long-chain molecules that act as powerful cellular messengers, triggering profound skin repair and regeneration.
When injected, polynucleotides activate fibroblast cells—the factories that produce collagen and elastin in your skin. This creates a natural healing response that goes far beyond surface improvements, working at the cellular level to rebuild damaged tissue and restore optimal skin function.
The treatment delivers over 20 billion high-purity exosomes along with powerful growth factors, creating comprehensive skin regeneration that addresses everything from inflammation to structural damage.
How do Polynucleotides work?
Cellular activation: Polynucleotides wake up dormant cells and stimulate fibroblast activity Tissue regeneration: They trigger natural healing responses that rebuild damaged skin from within
Hydration and antioxidant properties: These molecules attract water while protecting against free radical damage Collagen renewal: Stimulate your body’s own collagen and elastin production for lasting structural improvement
This isn’t just skin improvement—it’s genuine skin rehabilitation that addresses the root causes of aging and damage.
What skin conditions can be treated?
Age-related concerns:
- Fine lines and wrinkles through genuine collagen renewal
- Loss of skin elasticity and firmness
- Dehydrated, dull complexion that lacks vitality
- Crepey skin texture, especially around delicate areas
Damage and inflammation:
- Post-inflammatory pigmentation and uneven tone
- Acne scarring and textural irregularities
- Rosacea, redness, and skin sensitivity
- Sun damage and photoaging effects
Advanced applications:
- Under-eye area rejuvenation without adding volume
- Neck and décolletage restoration
- Scalp treatments for hair health and regrowth
- Any area requiring cellular-level repair
What makes polynucleotides different?
Genuine regeneration: Unlike fillers that add volume or skincare that works on the surface, polynucleotides actually repair and regenerate skin cells No volume addition: Perfect for delicate areas where traditional fillers aren’t suitable Comprehensive healing: Addresses multiple skin concerns simultaneously through cellular repair Scientific advancement: Represents the latest in regenerative medicine applied to aesthetics Long-lasting transformation: Results develop over months as your skin genuinely rebuilds itself
This is the future of skin treatment—working with your body’s natural healing mechanisms to create profound, lasting change.
What areas can be treated?
Facial rejuvenation:
- Under-eye area for brightness without puffiness
- Neck and jawline for tightening and smoothing
- Full face for comprehensive skin quality improvement
- Décolletage for chest rejuvenation
Specialized treatments:
- Scalp for hair follicle health and regrowth
- Areas with previous sun damage or scarring
- Sensitive skin areas where other treatments aren’t suitable
- Any region requiring cellular-level healing
The versatility of polynucleotides makes them suitable for treating areas and concerns that other treatments simply cannot address effectively.
How to prepare
Please ensure you arrive to your appointment make up free.
Ask as many questions as you feel necessary. Im here to help you.
If its your first time, try and stay relaxed and remember – you are here for a reason. It can be an exciting time, working with you to improve something that may be affecting you. Or for the simple reason that you just want a refresh and improve what you’ve already got, whilst still looking natural.
The downtime of treatments can be minimal for most undertaking them, with bruising being the most common risk. Although bruises are only temporary, here are some suggestions to help your experience be the best it can be and how to prepare for your treatment.
To minimize the chance of bruising following injections:
- Avoid alcohol 48hrs prior to your appointment
- Consider taking arnica 5-7 days before your appointment
- Stay well hydrated for 24 hours prior to your appointment
The following medication, this may increase your risk of bruising:
- Aspirin
- Ibuprofen/naproxen
- Vitamin E
- Fish oil
- St Johns Wort
- Ginseng
Please Note: if you have been prescribed medication for a medical condition, please ensure you speak to an appropriate medical professional before stopping medication.
What to expect after treatment
You’ll notice an immediate glow and hydration boost right after treatment — that’s the hyaluronic acid getting to work. But the real magic happens over the following weeks as your skin continues to improve.
Over 2-4 weeks, you’ll see skin texture become smoother, fine lines soften, and that radiant, plump look intensify. Your skin will feel more supple and resilient, and makeup will sit beautifully because your skin is genuinely healthier from within.
Most people need 2-3 treatment sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart for optimal results, followed by maintenance treatments every 6-9 months. During your consultation, we’ll create a treatment plan tailored to your skin’s specific needs.
Results typically last 6-9 months, but because skin boosters actually improve your skin quality rather than just filling lines, the benefits build with each treatment. You’re investing in long-term skin health, not just a temporary fix.
I’ll see you for a review appointment to assess how your skin is responding and plan your next session if needed.
